LaWayne Martin is a Navy Veteran with 23 years Project Management experience. While on duty he honed his leadership skills being as a Postal Clerk in charge of the mail room. He served his country faithfully on both land and sea. Some of his assignments include the USS San Jacinto (CG-56), the USS Nashville (LPD - 13), the USNS Comfort ( T-AH-20), and the USS OAK Hill ( LSD- 51).
LaWayne was also responsible for the oversight of $20,000 worth of stamps and money orders per month. He sent and received over 10,000 lbs of mail each and every month. After an honorable discharge from the Navy, he began working in the family business (Martin Concrete Finishing). During his tenure he oversaw a crew of more than 20 employees!
He also completed over 250 residential and commercial projects. His projects included football stadiums, basketball arenas, baseball and softball fields, house slabs, buildings, driveways, parking lots, parking garages, as well as custom concrete countertop fabrication.
As Project Manager LaWayne is responsible for the day to day oversight of all new construction, rehab, concrete and field operations. He is an integral part of the team and brings his years of project management experience and military work ethic to the team.
